Spiritual Inventory in Progress
“Keep examining yourselves to see whether you are continuing in the faith. Test yourselves! You know, don’t you, that Jesus the Messiah lives in you? Could it be that you are failing the test?” – 2 Corinthians 13:5 (NIV)
In order to remain profitable, most retail stores have some sort of inventory process in place that they perform on a regular basis. An effective inventory system allows stores to spot what items are performing well and what items are performing poorly. It also ensures that the store’s loss-prevention program is working. Much likes stores, Christians should regularly self-assess their spiritual life. Our Soul is the most valuable asset that we possess and if we aren’t careful, there are many things that will distract us from being “profitable” or will come to steal our destiny.
