Make Prayer A Priority
“In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” – Psalm 5:3 (NIV)
Many of us use some sort of planner – electronic or paper – to organize our day at work. We start our day reviewing our To Do list and prioritizing what we plan to accomplish that day. Yet, are we just as conscientious about setting priorities in our spiritual life?
If you wish to start your day with a positive mindset, make prayer a priority each morning. Starting your day with a conversation with Jesus Christ will give you spiritual stamina and strength to conquer every task and whatever obstacle you may have to face.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK: When a child wants something, they ask for it. If you have a need or desire but don’t have a relationship with Jesus Christ and don’t ask, how can you expect to receive your healing, your deliverance, your financial blessing, etc. So, if you have a need or a desire, PRAY to your Father in Heaven with expectancy that He will answer your prayer!
